Cristina Boccalandro, M.D., M.P.H., leads the Center and its team, and has dedicated her entire career to endocrinology with a special concentration in thyroid conditions. Not surprising, she is the first endocrinologist in the greater Houston area to perform this innovative technique to treat thyroid nodules. She has a long history of treating not only individual patients but their extended family members, as well, and has cared for generations of families who have received a thyroid diagnosis and seek her expertise and guidance.
